The Color Fun Run is one of Bentwood Elementary’s primary fundraising events and brings our students, families, and school community together for a fun day of celebration. In the week leading up to the event, students collect donations that help fund school enhancements, field trips, staff appreciation, student celebrations, community events and more.
This year we are also raising funds for blacktop enhancements, including a paint upgrade and new PE/recess equipment.
The day of the event, each grade will have a designated run time. See the schedule below.
Families are welcome and encouraged to come cheer them on!

Prizes
The more you raise, the more you unlock!
The total amount your grade raises determines the prizes you can choose from. Meet a fundraising goal and your grade can select that prize or any prize from a lower fundraising level!
The top fundraising grade will get to select their prize and turn Mrs. Pittman into a human sundae!
$500 | Special class snack
$1000 | Extra recess
$1500 | Popcicle party
$2000 | Cotton candy party
$2500 | Pizza party
If Bentwood meets the school wide fundraising goal of $15,000 there will be a school Ice Cream party!
Run Schedule
9:15 – 10:00 | Kindergarten and 1st Grade
10:15 – 11:00 | 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade
11:15 – 12:00 | 4th Grade and 5th Grade
PTA/Volunteers will be tossing colored powder on the kids from the shoulders down. PTA will provide sunglasses, wipes and post run popcicles to all students. There will be a powder free lande to run in for those who do not want to get messy.
